Major League Soccer names Seattle Sounders midfielder Cristian Roldan to Week 10 Team of the Week bench

Major League Soccer on Monday named Seattle Sounders midfielder Cristian Roldan to the Week 10 Team of the Week bench for his performance in a 1-1 draw at Minnesota United on Saturday.


Roldan started and played 90 minutes against his mentor and former Sounders captain Osvaldo Alonso and helped lead Seattle to a road point behind a thunderous volley that is nominated for Goal of the Week.

The Sounders are back home at CenturyLink Field on Saturday (7 p.m. PT; JOEtv, YouTube TV, 950 KJR AM, El Rey 1360 AM | TICKETS) for a match against the Houston Dynamo.
