It's been a whirlwind year for Seattle Sounders rookie Jordan Morris. After breaking onto the U.S. Men's National Team and scoring against Mexico, Morris went on to clinch the NCAA title with Stanford and just months later, signed with his hometown club.
Since joining the Sounders in January, Morris has broken the rookie scoring record for the team and continues to make an impact in his first season in Seattle.
Morris' latest honor is a ESPY nomination. The Mercer Island native is nominated for Best Male College Athlete, among a pool that includes Derrick Henry of Alabama (football), Buddy Hield of Oklahoma (basketball), Jarrion Lawson of Arkansas (track and field) and Alex Dieringer of Oklahoma State (wrestling).
Voting for The ESPYS is now open and will run through July 13 at 5 p.m. PT. Vote now!
