Ashley Fosberg
Vice President of Philanthropy & Executive Director of RAVE Foundation
Ashley Fosberg enters her eighth full season with Sounders FC in 2024, having joined the organization in October 2016. In her role as Vice president of Philanthropy & Executive Director of RAVE Foundation, she leads the strategic planning, development, programs and administration of RAVE and its mission-driven investments throughout the Puget Sound region. RAVE builds small fields for free play and invests programs that use soccer as a vehicle to inspire youth.
RAVE focuses its resources and partnerships in communities where access to free play is scarce. Under the leadership of Fosberg, RAVE has invested nine small community fields intended to inspire free play. These fields serve as anchors to RAVE programs that support the whole child. In 2018, she was named one of Seattle’s Rising Brand Stars by Adweek, recognizing RAVE’s philanthropic work and its impact in the community.
Fosberg has extensive non-profit experience, having most previously served as Executive Director of Highline Schools Foundation where she fundraised and gathered resources for 20,000 public school students in the culturally rich and economically diverse cities of Burien, Des Moines, SeaTac and unincorporated White Center. Prior career experience includes serving as Seattle Art Museum’s Director of Marketing, Pacific Northwest Ballet’s Director of Communications and as the PR officer for the Seattle chapter of the American Heart Association. She started her career in broadcasting at KOMO in television and radio promotions. Born in Honolulu, Hawaii, and raised in Seattle, Fosberg grew up attending Sounders games in the Kingdome. She is a graduate of Washington State University and lives in Burien with her three children.
