Bringing Seattle to the World

Next year, Seattle Sounders FC will participate in the first edition of the revamped FIFA Club World Cup. Hosted in the United States, FIFA Club World Cup 2025 will bring together the most iconic clubs in the global game to compete for the honors of being the best club team in the world. As one of the host cities, Seattle will welcome the world for the biggest club soccer event in history.

32 teams representing the six continental confederations – AFC, CAF, Concacaf, CONMEBOL, OFC and UEFA – will compete in this thrilling tournament, running from June 15 – July 13, 2025.

Sounders FC is working directly with FIFA on Alliance Member access to Club World Cup matches at Lumen Field, including any potential Sounders FC home matches.
