Tom Riley
Chief Financial Officer
Tom Riley currently serves as Chief Financial Officer for Seattle Sounders FC. In this position, Riley spearheads the club’s financial reporting, planning and oversight.
From 2006 to 2015, Riley ran his own management and financial consulting firm, which was focused on early-stage startups in Seattle. In the community, he currently serves as a board member of the Breakthrough Institute, a research institute changing how people think about energy and the environment. He has also served as President of the Seattle Audubon Society, Washington’s oldest and largest environmental group.
Riley holds a bachelor’s degree in Economics and German from UC Berkeley and an MBA from the Foster School of Business at the University of Washington. He has been a Sounders FC Season Ticket Member since the club’s inaugural MLS season in 2009.
