Major League Soccer's 21st season is rounding the corner to the final 17 weeks of the year. The first half of the season has seen plenty of spectacular goals, and Soccer By Ives had no problem rounding out a top 20 list of the best goals through the first half of the year.
Midfielder Andreas Ivanschitz comes in at 12th on the countdown with a spectacular golazo versus Vancouver Whitecaps FC in just the team's third match of 2016. Ivanschitz slotted home a fantastic free kick, drawing the Rave Green level with the 'Caps after a questionable PK call. Vancouver ultimately won 2-1, following another penalty kick. It was Ivanschitz's first goal of the season.
