- Coach Schmetzer is deploying a 5-4-1 formation with two changes from Wednesday’s match at Houston: Obed Vargas and Jackson Ragen are replacing Nicolás Lodeiro and Alex Roldan.
- Sounders FC captain Nicolás Lodeiro remained in Seattle this weekend following the birth of his child.
- Ragen makes his first start since April 23 at San Jose. Ragen has made just one substitute appearance since then due to injury and Health & Safety protocols.
- Alex Roldan is suspended for today’s match after being issued two yellow cards on Wednesday at Houston.
