One of the premier matchups of the 2023 MLS regular season is almost here.
On Saturday, the Seattle Sounders will take on LAFC (1:00 p.m. PT; FOX, Watch free on Apple TV; iHeart Radio, El Rey 1360AM | TICKETS) at Lumen Field in a battle between two of the standard bearers in MLS. With plenty of fireworks on the pitch and exciting matchday activities throughout the day, this is a can’t-miss event.
Here are four reasons to attend SEAvLAFC on Saturday afternoon:
Lumen Dominance
Back in preseason, Head Coach Brian Schmetzer spoke about the club’s desire to return Lumen Field to its rightful status as an indomitable fortress after a disappointing 2022 season. The team has answered the call in the opening two matches of this year, rewarding supporters with two wins, two shutouts, and six goals scored. The squad will need to feed off the energy of the crowd once again to secure three points this weekend.
