- Head Coach Brian Schmetzer makes four changes from the Sounders' Round One, Match Two win against the Houston Dynamo with Jonathan Bell, Reed Baker-Whiting, Albert Rusnák and Jordan Morris replacing Nouhou, Paul Rothrock, João Paulo and Raúl Ruidíaz.
- Nouhou is unavailable after picking up an illness while on international duty with Cameroon. Paul Rothrock, who has been dealing with a quad injury, was not cleared to participate in tonight’s match.
- In 2024, Seattle and LAFC have met on four different occasions in all competitions, with the Southern California side besting Sounders FC each time.
- Should Seattle emerge victorious against LAFC, it would advance to the Western Conference Final against the winner of the Minnesota-LA Galaxy match, being played on November 24 at Dignity Health Sports Park. The Rave Green would host Minnesota or travel to the LA Galaxy.
