Major League Soccer on Monday named Seattle Sounders midfielder Cristian Roldan to Week 11 Team of the Week for his efforts in a 1-0 win over the Houston Dynamo on Saturday.
Roldan scored for the second straight match, unleashing a wicked volley in the 5th minute that is nominated for Week 11 Goal of the Week. He also finished with 89 percent passing accuracy, 81 touches, two tackles, two clearances and five recoveries.
The Sounders return to CenturyLink Field on Wednesday for a midweek clash against Orlando City SC (7:30 p.m. PT; JOEtv, YouTube TV, 950 KJR AM, El Rey 1360 AM | TICKETS).
