TACOMA, WASH. – Tacoma Defiance (2-11-3, 9 points) on Saturday dropped a 3-0 decision at Colorado Springs Switchbacks FC (4-8-2, 14 points). Justin Dhillon had his five-game scoring streak snapped that dated back to May 12. The match was the first in a stretch of four consecutive road games for Tacoma.

Colorado Springs got on the board first in the 23rd minute on a goal from Jordan Burt. A misclearance in the back end for Tacoma allowed Burt to give the home side a 1-0 advantage. The goal was Burt’s team-leading fifth of the season.

Switchbacks FC grabbed a 2-0 lead in the 71st minute after Logan Dorsey found the back of the net off a corner kick. The 16-year-old Dorsey was making his professional debut for Colorado Springs. He entered the game as a substitute just four minutes before netting his first marker.

In the 87th minute, Mike Seth found Ismaila Jome who beat Tacoma goalkeeper Trey Muse to give Switchbacks FC a 3-0 advantage. The goal was Jome’s second of the season, while Seth earned his team-leading third assist of the season.

Six players under the age of 20 saw action for Tacoma tonight, including one First Team player in Muse.
