SEATTLE, WASH. – Major League Soccer today announced its 2024 regular-season schedule, a campaign that sees each of its 29 clubs play 34 matches, beginning on February 21 and ending on October 19. In addition to every MLS match airing on MLS Season Pass on the Apple TV app once again in 2024, Seattle is set to have six games broadcast on FOX’s family of networks, beginning with its 2024 season-opener at LAFC on Saturday, February 24 at BMO Stadium (1:30 p.m. PT / Apple TV, FOX). Sounders FC also announced its themed home matches for the 2024 campaign, as the Rave Green prepare to celebrate several different initiatives at Lumen Field over the course of the season, most notably the 50th anniversary of Sounders soccer in Seattle.
Sounders FC opens its home schedule on Saturday, March 2 on the Emerald Queen Casino Pitch against Austin FC at Lumen Field (7:30 p.m. PT / Apple TV). Seattle’s 2024 regular-season slate once again features six Cascadia fixtures with Portland and Vancouver, including a home Decision Day matchup with Portland on Saturday, October 19 at Lumen Field (6:00 p.m. PT / Apple TV). The club has six matches against Eastern Conference opponents, including home matches against the Montreal Impact on April 6 (7:30 p.m. PT / Apple TV), Chicago Fire FC on June 29 (7:30 p.m. PT / Apple TV) and the New England Revolution on July 6 (7:30 p.m. PT / Apple TV). Brian Schmetzer’s side travels to face 2023 MLS Cup champion Columbus Crew on Saturday, June 1 at Lower.com Field (4:30 p.m. PT / Apple TV).

FOX Sports is airing 34 games in 2024 in the U.S., including 15 matches on FOX and 19 matches on FS1, with all FOX Sports broadcasts also providing Spanish-language coverage on FOX Deportes.

HOME OPENER (March 2 vs. Austin FC): Sounders FC kicks off its 50th Anniversary celebrations in the first home match of the season.
POD NIGHT (April 20 vs. Vancouver Whitecaps FC): The Rave Green celebrate Earth Day and the club's work to Protect Our Planet, with an emphasis on stewardship of the Salish Sea and its orca residents.
YOUTH MATCH (May 5 vs. LA Galaxy): Sounders FC hosts a family-friendly afternoon at the pitch with special activations for younger fans.
HERITAGE MATCH (May 18 vs. Vancouver Whitecaps FC): Sounders FC celebrates the 50th Anniversary of its first match on May 12, 1974 against its oldest rival.
BRUCE LEE MATCH (May 29 vs. Real Salt Lake): The club celebrates the life and legacy of Bruce Lee in the final year of wearing its iconic Bruce Lee Kit.
50TH ANNIVERSARY CELEBRATION (June 15 vs. Minnesota United FC): In the marquee themed match of the season, the Rave Green celebrate 50 years of Seattle Sounders Football Club and all those who came before.
PRIDE MATCH (June 22 vs. FC Dallas): Sounders FC honors Seattle Pride leading into the week of celebrations in the city, highlighting the club’s advocacy, allyship and commitment to stand for LGBTQ+ equality.
YOUTH MATCH (September 15 vs. Sporting Kansas City): Sounders FC hosts a family-friendly afternoon at the pitch with special activations for younger fans.
FAN APPRECIATION (September 28 vs. Houston Dynamo FC): The club’s annual Fan Appreciation Match celebrating the best fans in MLS, offering unique giveaways and opportunities to engage with the First Team in a post-match carnation gifting.
DECISION DAY (October 19 vs. Portland Timbers): The final home match of the season is being played against Cascadia rival Portland Timbers, as positions for the Audi 2024 MLS Cup Playoffs fall into place across MLS.
Leagues Cup, the World Cup-style club competition featuring all LIGA MX and Major League Soccer teams, is set to return for its 2024 edition. Kicking off Friday, July 26 with the tournament final on Sunday, August 25, 2024, the official Concacaf tournament maintains its three berths to Concacaf Champions Cup, with the Leagues Cup champion qualifying directly to the Round of 16. Fans in more than 100 countries and regions can tune into all the Leagues Cup action on MLS Season Pass on Apple TV. TelevisaUnivision, TV Azteca, FOX Sports, TSN and RDS are broadcasting select Leagues Cup matches in Canada, Mexico and the United States.
Sounders FC is currently in the midst of its offseason after finishing the 2023 regular season second in the Western Conference with 53 points (14-9-11), advancing to the Western Conference Semifinals before falling 1-0 to LAFC.
