It looks like one match against Mexico just wasn’t enough for Sounders Academy product Jordan Morris.
It was announced on Monday morning that the Stanford University sophomore will be joining Andi Herzog’s U-23 squad in Carson, California for the team’s first stateside camp of the year. Morris is one of two players on the roster who has already earned a cap with the senior squad in 2015.
The team will face Mexico’s U-23 National Team on Wednesday, April 22 at the StubHub Center in Carson. The match will be televised at 5 p.m. PT on UniMas and Univision Deportes.
Earlier in April, Morris scored his first international goal in his first start with the USMNT senior team to put the team up 1-0 over Mexico. The team went on to win 2-0 at the Alamodome in San Antonio, Texas.
