- Sounders FC is deploying a 5-4-1 formation with four changes from Saturday’s match vs. Portland: Stefan Cleveland, Abdoulaye Cissoko, Jimmy Medranda and Fredy Montero are replacing Stefan Frei, Jackson Ragen, Kelyn Rowe and Raúl RuidÃaz.
- Frei (Health & Safety Protocols) and RuidÃaz (right hamstring strain) are out for today’s match, joining João Paulo (right ACL tear) and Obed Vargas (lower back stress fracture) on the injury report.
- Cissoko makes his fourth regular-season start of the season and his first since May 7 at FC Dallas.
- Xavier Arreaga is on the matchday roster for the first time since June 18 vs. LAFC (left hamstring strain).
