This summer, we celebrate our work to Defend the Right to Play! In the coming weeks, RAVE Foundation will open three additional fields, in communities where access to free play is limited. Along with providing a place for free play, those fields will anchor programs that support learning, wellness and joy.
On August 13, Lakeridge Playfield in Seattle will be the home of a new field for free play, thanks to the City of Seattle and in partnership with Seattle United and Seattle Youth Soccer Association.
On September 6, Larchmont Elementary School in Tacoma will open the Tacoma Public Schools-owned field, thanks to partners Delta Air Lines, Washington Youth Soccer and OL Reign.
Opening September 17, free play comes to a new field at Barge-Lincoln Elementary School in Yakima, thanks to Yakima Public Schools, Orlegi Sports/Santos Laguna, and University of Washington.
