Seattle Sounders defender Roman Torres started for Panama on Thursday and went the full 90 minutes in a scoreless draw at Costa Rica on Matchday 5 of the Hexagonal in CONCACAF 2018 FIFA World Cup Qualifying.

Costa Rican defender Giancarlo Gonzalez was sent off in the 54th minute, but the Panamanians could not capitalize in the 35 minutes they played with a man advantage.
