After a scoreless draw with FC Dallas on the Xbox Pitch at CenturyLink Field on Monday night, Seattle Sounders FC has advanced, 1-1, on aggregate (via away goals) in the MLS Cup Playoffs to face rival LA Galaxy in the 2014 MLS Western Conference Finals. Sounders FC is set to host the Second Leg of the two-match series on Sunday, November 30 at 6:00 p.m. PST (ESPN, ESPN Deportes). Tickets for that contest are now on-sale to the general public, and can be purchased at the CenturyLink Field Box Office or via www.SoundersFC.com.

The First Leg of the 2014 MLS Western Conference Finals is being played at the StubHub Center in Carson, Calif. at 2:00 p.m. PST on Sunday, November 23 (ESPN, ESPN Deportes). Advancing to the Conference Finals for just the second time in club history, Sounders FC last faced LA on the final day of the 2014 regular season, as the Rave Green bested the Galaxy 2-0 to claim their first Supporters' Shield.

Sounders FC had its fair share of chances against FC Dallas on Monday night, beginning in the 27th minute during a Gonzalo Pineda corner kick that found the head of defender Chad Marshall. The ball bounced outside the six-yard-box toward goal but was cleared off the line by Dallas' Michel.

In the 41st minute, combination play between Clint Dempsey and Obafemi Martins allowed Dempsey to get open for a shot from the top of the area, but FC Dallas goalkeeper Chris Seitz made the save.

Martins created another chance in the 52nd minute, dragging the ball past multiple FC Dallas defenders, but Seitz came off his line to break-up the play. Ultimately Sounders FC goalkeeper Stefan Frei preserved the clean sheet, ushering his side into the penultimate round of MLS postseason play.

In the other Western Conference Semifinal matchup, LA advanced past Real Salt Lake, 5-0, on aggregate goals.
