- Captain Osvaldo Alonso returns to the lineup, his first start since injuring his knee against the Colorado Rapids on July 4. Alonso checked in as a second-half substitute last week against Sporting Kansas City.
- With Alonso back in the middle, Cristian Roldan moves to the left wing and Jordan Morris bumps to forward, with Will Bruin starting on the bench.
- After making his 2017 debut with the Sounders last week, Lamar Neagle is unavailable after suffering a left ankle sprain late in the week at training.
