The Seattle Sounders are hosting their Cascadia rivals the Portland Timbers on Saturday (12 p.m. PT; FOX, KIRO Radio 97.3 FM, El Rey 1360AM) in their first clash of the 2017 season. Here is the Sounders’ starting lineup, presented by Delta:

- Brad Evans makes his second consecutive start after helping lead the Sounders to a 1-0 win over Real Salt Lake last week.
- Clint Dempsey, Nicolas Lodeiro and Harry Shipp have all shifted from their previous positions in the three-man attacking midfield, with Dempsey lining up on the left, Lodeiro in the middle and Shipp on the right.
- Aaron Kovar makes his first 2017 appearance on the matchday roster after battling a groin injury to start the season.
