- Head Coach Brian Schmetzer makes on change to the lineup that earned a 3-1 win over LAFC in the Western Conference Final, replacing center back Xavier Arreaga with Román Torres.
- Joevin Jones, Cristian Roldan, Nicolás Lodeiro, Stefan Frei and Torres each start their third MLS Cup final, all of which have come against Toronto FC.
- The match will be played in front of a sold-out crowd at CenturyLink Field.
