WHERE TO WATCH: The match will be available to watch on MLS Season Pass on Apple TV.

WHERE TO LISTEN: The match will air on 950 KJR AM and El Rey 1360AM.

2025 RECORDS AND STANDINGS: Sounders: 2-3-3 (9 points, 11th West), Nashville: 4-3-1 (13 points, 6thEast)

FORM GUIDE (all competitions, most recent first): Seattle: WLDDL, Nashville: WLLWW

PREVIOUS MEETING: The Sounders and Nashville SC played to a scoreless draw at GEODIS Park in Nashville on Sept. 30, 2023.

BACK HOME: The Sounders return to Seattle fresh off a three-match road trip that saw them take four points from nine matches with a win at FC Dallas and a draw at the San Jose Earthquakes.

VARGAS STEPPING UP: Seattle was buoyed last week in Frisco, Texas, by the play of teenage midfielder Obed Vargas. The Mexican international has become a mainstay in Head Coach Brian Schmetzer’s central midfield and earned an MLS Team of the Matchday bench nomination for his efforts on both sides of the ball.

KIM MAKES 2025 DEBUT: After center back Jackson Ragen went down with a hamstring injury last week, Kim Kee-hee, who rejoined the team after spending two years in Seattle in 2018-19, made his 2025 debut and helped preserve the clean sheet.

YOUTH MATCH: The Sounders will be hosting its Youth Match on Saturday at Lumen Field where fans of all ages can participate in an afternoon of fun with different kids activities and celebrations held throughout the match. For more information, check out the Know Before You Go page on the website.

CALLAGHAN TAKES THE REINS: This Saturday will be Seattle’s first meeting with Nashville under Manager B.J. Callaghan, who took over last summer. The 43-year-old is in his first head coaching position after serving as an assistant and then interim position in charge of the United States Men’s National Team.

GOALS EXPECTED: Nashville enters this weekend fourth in MLS in Expected Goals with 17.24, which means the club is generating a ton of good looks in the attacking third. Nashville is severely underperforming its metrics and squandering its chances, however, scoring just 12 times so far on the season.

PLAYER TO WATCH: Hany Mukhtar, F

As much as true No. 9 Sam Surridge has come in and established his presence up front, Nashville is still very much Mukhtar’s team and all things run through him in the final third. The creative former German youth international has tallied an impressive 68 goals and 38 assists in over 150 MLS matches since 2020, as well as earning MLS MVP honors in 2022.
