So the USWNT just won the 2015 World Cup. THE FREAKIN’ WORLD CUP! What a weekend. I ate my weight in hot dogs as the meat to the Sounders and USA wins bread in the sandwich that was the best 4th of July weekend that this great country has ever known. I don’t even know if that sentence makes sense but it’s how I feel right now. Let’s add more to this already crazy long Social Timeline with some more Social Media! Yay!

If you were too busy stuffing your face with hot dogs by a lake somewhere and missed the match (who am I kidding, I did that all day Saturday) then you didn't get to see one crazy Major League Soccer contest. Ending 1-0 with the Rave Green playing up a man for the majority of the match, the home side was saved on Independence Day weeekend (WELCOME TO EARTH!) by none other than Englishman Tyrone Mears.
Oh, the irony.
Regardless of the somewhat comical situation, the result snapped a three-match losing streak in league play for the club, and gets it back on track with a couple winable matches ahead. Let's see how it all went down in today's Social Timeline. It's gonna be a real beaut.
