Forward Irvin Parra provided the match's scoring with a goal in each half, as the Rave Green earned their second consecutive win and moved into a tie for third place in the Western Conference. While applying pressure on a Portland defender, Parra's attempted block sent the ball sailing over the goalkeeper and into the back of the net. With the goal, Parra matches Felix Chenkam as the club scoring leader with three goals.</p><p>Despite holding a five-shot advantage over the host side (13-8), Portland was unable to capitalize on any chances. Timbers 2 appeared to have cut the lead in the 88th minute, but Lucas Cini was ruled offside. S2's defense held on for the remainder of the match, marking the club's first shutout of the campaign.</p><p>Next Saturday, S2 visits first-place San Antonio FC.
