SEATTLE, WASH. – Seattle Sounders FC and its charitable partner RAVE Foundation are joining OL Reign and SeattleFWC26 – FIFA’s World Cup 2026™ Local Organizing Committee – to host three U.S. Women’s National Team Watch Party events on Wednesday, July 26 ahead of the U.S. Women’s National Team’s match against Netherlands.

Watch parties are being hosted in Seattle, Tacoma and Spokane, providing soccer fans in different regions of Washington with ways to connect and come together supporting the USWNT. Seattle’s event takes place at 4:30 p.m. PT at Westlake Park and includes player appearances from OL Reign forwards Jadyn Edwards and McKenzie Weinert. The Tacoma event will be held at the Emerald Queen Casino Events Center and begins at 5:00 p.m. PT. Former Sounders and current team broadcasters Steve Zakuani and Lamar Neagle will headline the event. The Spokane event begins at 5:00 p.m. PT at Brick West Brewing Company, with former Sounder and current club Brand Ambassador Brad Evans in attendance.

All watch parties are free of charge for all fans and entry is based on a first-come, first-served basis. Fans are encouraged to arrive early to secure their spot to and enjoy pre-match coverage. Those interested in attending in Tacoma are asked to enter through the valet entrance. All minors must be accompanied by an adult.

MEDIA NOTE: Members of the media are welcome to attend the watch parties to gather b-roll and / or speak to willing attendees. Please RSVP with Gisselle Pichardo [GisselleP@SoundersFC.com] of Sounders FC Communications if you plan to be onsite for media purposes.

Those coming to the watch parties can look forward to viewing the game on a giant screen in an electric group atmosphere. In addition, the SeattleFWC26 organizing committee will be onsite at Brick West Brewing Company in Spokane giving away exclusive FIFA World Cup 2026-themed t-shirt to the first 50 people to visit their booth while providing fans with the opportunity to win exciting raffle prizes.

In addition to the watch party, RAVE Foundation will be announcing its partnership with the City of Spokane Valley to bring a new soccer mini-pitch to Balfour Park in 2024. Through this new milestone, RAVE Foundation reinforces its commitment to build 26 small fields for free play by the end of 2026 in historically marginalized communities in the state – with the target date of completion in time for FIFA World Cup 2026™ – while also investing in and around those fields that use soccer as a vehicle to support the health and wellbeing of youth.

RAVE’s donation to Balfour Park at Spokane Valley includes a bright, hard-court surface soccer mini-pitch and the commitment to donate one soccer ball to every child that lives within a walkable mile of the park, as well as free soccer training opportunities through the organization and local program partners. This field is the first RAVE small field built for free play in the Spokane area.

More information about RAVE Foundation can be found via RaveFoundation.org. RAVE also welcomes donations to the general 26 Fields by 2026 campaign HERE.

The U.S. Women’s National Team earned a physical 3-0 win against Vietnam in the team’s opening match at the 2023 FIFA Women’s World Cup on July 26.
