SEATTLE, WASH. – Sounders FC today announced that its home match vs. FC Cincinnati at Lumen Field has been moved to Tuesday, September 27 (7:00 p.m. PT / FOX 13+, Prime Video, iHeartMedia, El Rey 1360 AM). Previously scheduled for April 9, the match was rescheduled following Sounders FC’s advancement to the 2022 Scotiabank Concacaf Champions League Semifinals and adding two fixtures to its schedule this month.
Tickets for the originally scheduled match on April 9 are valid for September 27. With all tickets being digital, the new match details are being updated automatically in each person’s account manager system. Fans can still purchase tickets for this contest via SoundersFC.com/Tickets.
This marks the second all-time meeting between the two sides after Seattle defeated Cincinnati 4-1 in the latter’s inaugural MLS match on March 2, 2019. Following a week off due to the FIFA international break, Sounders FC (1-2-1, 4 points) returns to MLS action this Saturday, April 2 with a road match against Minnesota United FC (2-0-2, 8 points) at Allianz Field (5:00 p.m. PT / FOX 13, Prime Video, Univision-Seattle, iHeartMedia, El Rey 1360 AM).
