Heading into the final month of the regular season, just three matches remain for Sounders FC in the 2015 campaign. The first test of October will be a nationally-televised, start-studded clash with Supporters’ Shield-leading LA Galaxy on Sunday at CenturyLink Field (6:30 pm PDT; FOX Sports 1).
The third and final meeting between the two sides comes at a crucial time for playoff positioning in a crowded Western Conference. Currently, the Sounders are in fourth place on the conference table – four points behind LA and three points above the postseason cutoff line. On Sunday, the Sounders will be wearing a Pitch Black, Halo 5: Guardians-themed kit.
