This Latinx and LGBTQ-owned Wallingford bakery was started by Kevin Moulder, who started baking at age 7 with his grandmother, Maw-Maw, in San Antonio, Texas. Kevin founded Cubes Baking Co. to pay tribute to Maw-Maw and his Mexican-American heritage by putting modern twists on many of her family’s Mexican recipes. Later, the bakeshop rebranded as Tres Lecheria to focus on the tres leches cakes that had quickly become customer favories.
