Looking to maintain its lead atop Group A in the 2015 CONCACAF Gold Cup, the U.S. Men’s National Team is back in action on Friday against Caribbean nation Haiti.

Clint Dempsey, Brad Evans and the Americans can clinch a spot in the knockout round with a second straight victory on Friday at Gillette Stadium in Foxborough, Mass. The match kicks off at 5:30 p.m. PT with national television coverage on FOX Sports 1.

Gold Cup Schedule

In the USA’s opening game of the tournament on Tuesday, Dempsey became the third USMNT player to score in four Gold Cups, netting a brace to lead his team to a 2-1 win over Honduras in Frisco, Texas. The Sounders FC striker has seven career Gold Cup goals, which ranks him fourth all-time among USMNT players.

Evans played 27 minutes in the win over Honduras, replacing Timothy Chandler at right back in the second half as the USA preserved its lead. The Seattle captain has appeared in three matches for the USMNT in 2015 and is now at 20 international caps for his career.

In addition, former Sounders FC Homegrown Player DeAndre Yedlin made his Gold Cup debut against Honduras, logging 90 minutes on the right side of the midfield.

The Americans’ opponent on Friday, Haiti earned a 1-1 draw with Panama in its tournament opener on Tuesday. Haiti is one of two CONCACAF teams to own a winning record against the USA, as the Caribbean nation is 6-5-5 in the series. However, all six of those victories came from 1968-73.
