Career Summary

PROFESSIONAL EXPERIENCE

2017 (Houston): Brown made 12 appearances for Rio Grande Valley FC Toros, the Dynamo’s USL affiliate, allowing 12 goals. He was named to the USL Team of the Week for Week 3 after tallying three saves, stopping a penalty kick and keeping a clean sheet at OKC Energy FC (April 8).

2016 (Houston): He made his Dynamo debut in friendly vs. Chivas Guadalajara (September 4), playing final 45 minutes in 0-0 draw. Brown made seven appearances for RGV FC, allowing just five goals for 0.71 goals against average and recording five shutouts.

2015 (Pittsburgh Riverhounds): Brown signed with the Pittsburgh Riverhounds of the USL for the 2015 season. He allowed 16 goals in 14 games (13 starts), recording a 5-4-4 record with five shutouts.

COLLEGE EXPERIENCE

A two-year letterman at the University of Virginia, Brown led the Cavaliers to a national championship in 2014, making 21 starts for a 11-5-3  and 10 shutouts. He was named to the NCAA College Cup All-Tournament team and Most Valuable Defensive Player. As a junior in 2013, he started final eight games of the campaign, tallying three shutouts while going 5-2-1, while also being named to the ACC All-Tournament team.

YOUTH EXPERIENCE

Brown was a four-year starter for Loudoun County High School where he earned various All-Region, All-Dulles District and All-Met honors. He also played for the Great Falls Soccer Club, which won the U-16, U-17 and U-18 Virginia State Cups, in addition to taking part in the Virginia State Olympic Development Program (ODP) and District ODP. He played for Northern Virginia Royals (PDL) in 2011 and 2014.
