PROFESSIONAL EXPERIENCE

2018 (Seattle): Meredith started one regular season MLS match for Seattle, a 3-2 loss to the Portland Timbers (June 30), in which he recorded three saves. He also put in a man-of-the-match performance for the Rave Green in the Lamar Hunt U.S. Open Cup, tallying seven saves as the Sounders fell 2-1 on the road to Sacramento Republic (June 6). The veteran goalkeeper started nine matches for Sounders FC 2 in USL action.

2017 (Seattle): Meredith returned to Sounders FC in 2017 after three seasons with the San Jose Earthquakes. His lone first team appearance came in a friendly against Eintracht Frankfurt (July 8) when he came on for Stefan Frei at halftime and held the German side scoreless for 45 minutes. Additionally, the Monmouth product started eight matches for Sounders FC 2, the club’s USL team.

2014-16 (San Jose Earthquakes): Meredith joined San Jose on January 24, 2014, where he played for three seasons but did not log an appearance in league play. Meredith appeared in four Lamar Hunt U.S. Open Cup matches – three in 2015 and one in 2016.             

2013 (New York Cosmos / IK Bruge): Joined Swedish club IK Bruge on December 21, 2012, where he made three appearances. He was then signed by the New York Cosmos of the NASL on September 28, 2013 before returning to MLS the following January.

2012 (Seattle Sounders FC): In his second MLS season, Meredith made 12 league appearances and posted a 3-3-5 mark, including three shutouts.

2011 (Kitsap Pumas / Seattle Sounders FC): After being drafted by Seattle in the Second Round of the 2011 MLS SuperDraft, Meredith started the campaign with USL / PDL side Kitsap Pumas, making 15 appearances. The Rave Green brought him back to the roster ahead of his first appearance in CONCACAF Champions League play (2-1 loss vs. Monterrey, October 18.)

COLLEGE EXPERIENCE

The goalkeeper starred at Monmouth University for four seasons, where he earned All-Northeast Conference honors in his senior campaign. As a junior, he led the nation in goals against average (0.306)

The son of Tom and Beth, Meredith has one brother and one sister. He majored in Communications at Monmouth.
