Heading into Friday's contest against the heavily-favored U.S. Men's National Team, Sounders FC 2's Oalex Anderson and his St. Vincent team were just excited for the opportunity to test their mettle against a regional giant.

As it turns out, it didn't take long for Anderson to make his presence known with a goal five minutes into the match.

The right-footed Anderson started the match on the left wing, preferring to cut infield past defenders, according to S2 Head Coach and St. Vincent and the Grenadines Assistant Ezra Hendrickson. The tactic paid off as Anderson cut past former Sounders FC defender DeAndre Yedlin before curling his shot to the right post past diving U.S. goalkeeper Brad Guzan.

The USMNT ultimately won the game 6-1, with Yedlin logging a full 90 minutes and Sounders FC Academy product Jordan Morris coming off the bench for the final 22 minutes of the match.
