He scored his fourth professional goal, became just the third MLS rookie to score in four consecutive games and now, he can add an MLS Team of the Week honor to his list of accolades.
Not a bad weekend for Jordan Morris.
Morris is the latest Sounder to land on MLSsoccer.com's list, joining Osvaldo Alonso, Chad Marshall, Andreas Ivanschitz and Zach Scott.
Morris had another impressive performance and picked up a goal in the 88th minute of the match on an assist by Alonso. Seattle downed San Jose 2-0, with Dempsey scoring in the first half to help improve the Sounders record to 4-4-1.
Morris is now tied with Steve Zakuani for most goals scored by a rookie in franchise history, first set in 2009. Morris is also just the third player in club history to score in at least four consecutive games.
