Major League Soccer on Friday revealed the 137 nominees for The 25 Greatest, a platform that will determine and honor the 25 best players in league history.
Ten players have Seattle Sounders ties, having either played for the club or work for the organization.

- Kasey Keller — Goalkeeper, 2009-11
- Troy Perkins — Goalkeeper, 2015
- Chad Marshall — Defender, 2014-19
- Osvaldo Alonso — Midfielder 2009-18
- Chris Henderson — Midfielder, VP of Soccer and Sporting Director 2008-Present
- Shalrie Joseph — Midfielder, 2013
- Preki — Midfielder, Assistant Coach 2018-Present
- Clint Dempsey — Forward, 2013-18
- Ante Razov — Forward, Assistant Coach 2015-16
