FORM GUIDE (all competitions, most recent first): Seattle: WWLDD, Colorado: DWLWL
PREVIOUS MEETING: The Sounders defeated the Rapids 1-0 in Colorado on Oct. 5, 2024, behind an early second-half goal from Albert Rusnák.
DE LA VEGA ON TARGET: Seattle will be looking for another strong performance from Designated Player attacker Pedro de le Vega, who scored his first home MLS goal last weekend in a win against Nashville. His recent play in the attacking third has helped Seattle win back-to-back contests.
KIM LEADERSHIP SHINING: After coming on at halftime for an injured Jackson Ragen against FC Dallas on April 12, Kim Kee-hee has helped the Sounders pitch three consecutive scoreless halves. The 35-year-old veteran has not missed a beat in his return to Seattle five years after lifting MLS Cup 2019.
REINFORCEMENTS ARRIVING: Last week saw the return of Rusnák, Jordan Morris and Alex Roldan from their respective injuries, a promising sign if the Sounders are going to keep stacking wins.
A TALE OF TWO STYLES: Saturday’s match will feature two completely different styles of play. The Sounders love to play with the ball and are fourth in MLS in possession at 55% and third in completed passes. Colorado, meanwhile, is set up to play against the ball, averaging a shade under 44% possession per match, the fourth-lowest in the league.

FAMILIAR FACE: The Sounders will face off against former Homegrown midfielder Josh Atencio for the first time since Seattle sent him to Colorado for up to $1.6M in General Allocation Money in February.
PLAYER TO WATCH: Rafael Navarro, F
After a breakout 15-goal performance last season, Navarro has picked up in 2025 right where he left off. The Brazilian striker has five goals in just over 800 minutes.
