When most people think of retirement, they probably imagine leisurely walks, rounds of golf or hanging out on a beach and relaxing. If you're former Seattle Sounders forwards Roger Levesque and Nate Jaqua, you're spending it a bit differently.
Just a few weekends ago, the two competed in Steve Zakuani's Kingdom Hope charity match at Starfire Sports. Both looked match-fit and put in solid shifts for their teams and this weekend, they're back at it. The pair are running in the San Diego 100, an ultra marathon along the Pacific Crest, Noble Canyon and Lake Cuyamaca trails in California. The race began on Friday morning at 6 a.m. and as of 2:30 p.m. PT on Friday, Jaqua was in third place with Levesque close behind in 13th out of a pool of 300 runners. Follow their progress here.
