Seattle Sounders FC midfielder Cristian Roldan will start for the U.S. men's national team against Panama on Sunday evening at State Farm Stadium in Glendale, Ariz. Roldan, 23, has been with the team for the past three weeks at the annual January Camp at the Chula Vista Elite Athlete Training Center in Southern California.
Roldan has five caps for the USMNT, including four in the 2018 calendar year. He made his debut in a 2017 CONCACAF Gold Cup Group Stage match against Martinique, then appeared this past year vs. Bosnia and Herzegovina (Jan. 28), Paraguay (March 2), Brazil (Sept. 7) and Mexico (Sept. 11).
