Seattle Sounders midfielder Osvaldo Alonso is set to throw the first pitch at the Seattle Mariners' game on Sunday afternoon. Alonso, who attended an M's game last fall after his father traveled to the United States for the first time, is an avid baseball fan and joins a group of Sounders players and staff members who have had the honor of throwing the first pitch at Safeco.
The Mariners wrap up their homestand against defending champions the Kansas City Royals on Sunday at 1:10 p.m. and tickets are still available.
