The Seattle Sounders' 2025 schedule is officially here.
With so many trophies on the line across national, regional and international competitions, Sounders FC is in store for a thrilling, jam-packed year ahead. Here are six home matches you won’t want to miss.
Charlotte FC (Feb. 22, 2025)
The Sounders will kick off the regular season against Eastern Conference side Charlotte FC on Feb. 22 at Lumen Field. It is not a common match-up for the Rave Green, having only played the North Carolina team twice since the club expanded to MLS in 2022, but it will be sure to be a battle given its previous head-to-head match-up finishing in a 3-3 draw. Home Openers are always a can't-miss fixture for Seattle, and this battle against Charlotte is the perfect way to kickstart one of the most exciting seasons in Sounders history.
Antigua G.F.C (Feb. 26, 2025)
The last time the Sounders were in Concacaf competitiion, they became the first-ever MLS club to win Concacaf Champions League. The path to a second continental title begins on Feb. 19 and Feb. 26 when the team takes on Guatemalan side Antigua G.F.C in a Round One, two-match series. The Feb. 26 match held at Lumen Field will be critical for the Rave Green as the team looks to close out Round One with a high enough aggregate to surpass the Central American team.
Botafogo (June 15, 2025)
Back in 2023, the Sounders became the first MLS club to compete in the FIFA Club World Cup. Now they're slated to make history once again as one of two American clubs to compete in the inaugural edition of the expanded, revamped tournament. The Club World Cup draw revealed Brazil's Serié A team Botafago as the Sounders' first matchup in FIFA Club World Cup 2025 on June 15. Between the Sounders' vast history of success in MLS and Botafago's recent collection of its third Brazilian Championship title, the matchup will be sure to keep fans in attendance on the edge of their seats.

Atlético de Madrid (June 19, 2025)
The Sounders are scheduled to face Spanish powerhouse Atlético de Madrid in its second FIFA Club World Cup group stage match on June 19. This will be the first time in club history the Rave Green will face the current No. 2 ranked team in La Liga. It will be a strong matchup between the brickwall Sounders backline and Atlético's lethal attack, led by center forward and French international Antoine Greizmann.
Paris Saint-Germain (June 23, 2025)
The Sounders will finish out the FIFA Club World Cup group stage against PSG, a team that consistently sits at the top of the Ligue 1 table year-after-year. With a collection of 50 major trophies, the French side knows what it takes to win championships, making this match-up an excellent way to cap off the group stage and allow the Sounders to showcase their ability to compete against teams of this caliber.
LA Galaxy (Sept. 13, 2025)
Two of the biggest clubs in the Western Conference, battles between the Sounders and the LA Galaxy have shaped the course of Major League Soccer dating back to 2009. Sept. 13 will be the second time the teams will go head-to-head in 2025, but will be the first appearance at Lumen Field. It will be a chance for the Sounders to exact revenge over the star-studded LA side, who recently defeated Seattle in the Western Conference Final.
