For the second consecutive season, the Seattle Sounders will face off against LAFC in a single-elimination match with a spot in the Western Conference Final on the line.
The Sounders booked their spot in the Semifinals after defeating the Houston Dynamo in back-to-back penalty kick shootouts in the Round One, Best-Of-3 series. LAFC defeated the Vancouver Whitecaps 2-1 in Match One before suffering a 3-0 loss on the road in Match Two. On Friday night, the two sides squared off in a winner-takes-all Match Three, with LAFC advancing following a 1-0 victory at home.
As the No. 1 seed in the West, the Black & Gold will host the Rave Green at BMO Stadium. The date and time of the match will be announced by Major League Soccer in the coming days.
