PROFESSIONAL EXPERIENCE
2016 (Seattle): Despite not making an appearance with the First Team, Mansaray ranked second on S2 with five goals in his 19 appearances, while adding two assists. In August, he was named the top player in USLsoccer.com’s, “20 Under 20” list, which ranked the top USL players under the age of 20.
2015 (Seattle): Mansaray made three appearances in his rookie season with Sounders FC. He made his MLS debut in 15 minutes of action in a scoreless draw against FC Dallas (March 28). At 18 years and 34 days of age, Mansaray became the youngest player to appear in a match for the Rave Green. Mansaray made his First Team debut in a 2-2 draw in an international friendly against Club Tijuana (March 24). He was called into the U-18 U.S. Men’s National Team from April 22 – May 1 in Bosnia, where he scored two goals and recorded one assist.
INTERNATIONAL EXPERIENCE
In January 2017, Mansaray was called to the U.S. U-20 domestic training camp in Orlando. Mansaray helped the U.S. U-18 National Team to a 3-0-0 tournament victory in Czech Republic last August. He made two appearances and logged 106 total minutes, including appearances in a 3-1 win over Hungary in the opener and a 1-0 win over Ukraine in the final.
CLUB EXPERIENCE
Mansaray entered the Sounders FC Academy midway through the 2012-2013 season and finished the season with 11 goals in 20 matches, including 11 starts. In his second season with the U-16s, Mansaray scored a team-high 18 goals in 24 games played helping the team reach the USSDA Playoffs for a second straight season. In eight matches this season for the U-18s, Mansaray scored four goals and wore the captain’s armband.
PERSONAL
Born and raised in Sierra Leone, Mansaray spent time in Jamaica before moving to Seattle. Mansaray attends Fife High School.
