2015 (Seattle): In 2015, Scott played a career-high 1,480 minutes in league action. He made 20 appearances, including 15 starts, during the regular season. He tied his career-high with four shot-on-goal attempts. In the postseason, the centerback appeared in each of the club’s three matches, including two starts.
2014 (Seattle): Scott made his season debut versus the Philadelphia Union (May 3). During the regular season, Scott made 16 starts on 18 appearances. In the postseason, Scott played all 360 minutes in the club’s four matches. He was the only player on the club to appear in all 540 minutes of the U.S. Open Cup. In the first of five matches of the tournament, Scott scored a goal in the 5-0 win versus PSA Elite (June 18). He was named to the MLS Team of the Week in Week 25.
2013 (Seattle): Scott set career-highs with 21 appearances, 16 starts and 1,458 minutes in 2013. He led Sounders FC with starts at three different positions—right back, left back and center back over a three-game span (May 8 to May 18). At one point, Scott started and went a full 90 minutes in seven straight matches (June 1-July 20). He appeared in 27 of 42 matches across all competitions.
2012 (Seattle): Scott had career-highs in appearances (20), starts (16), minutes (1,437), points (three), shots (11), shots on goal (two), fouls committed (27) and yellow cards (five). He scored his first career MLS goal, the game-winner against Colorado (April 14), and recorded his first career assist in a 2-1 loss at Portland (June 24). He recorded his first career MLS Cup Playoffs goal and assist in the Western Conference Championship against LA (November 18). He scored the late equalizer in the U.S. Open Cup Final at Sporting Kansas City (August 8). The team went 7-6-7 when he saw action. At season’s end, he ranked fifth amongst active Sounders FC players with 74 appearances across all competitions since 2009.
2011 (Seattle): Scott set new career-highs for games played (12), starts (9) and minutes (864). The team was 6-1-2 in games he started. He appeared in his first career playoff game against Real Salt Lake (November 2). In all, he made 22 appearances and 18 starts across all competitions.
2010 (Seattle): Scott started all four league appearances, logging 360 minutes. He made 10 starts in all competitions, including four of six CONCACAF Champions League group stage games. Scott scored the decisive goal in a penalty shootout at Portland (June 30) in the U.S. Open Cup.
2009 (Seattle): Scott made the final roster following his first preseason with Seattle and started the club’s first-ever game just three days after signing. He started six of his nine appearances, all at left back, and played 90 minutes in the first five matches of the season.
2002-08 (Seattle, USL-1): A regular starter for the final six of his seven seasons with USL-1 Sounders, Scott played at center back and leftback. He scored the decisive penalty kick in the quarterfinal shootout win over Kansas City in the 2008 U.S. Open Cup. Scott totaled 139 games, eight goals (two game-winners) and three assists in league play. He finished sixth in total league appearances for the franchise (139) and fifth in minutes (11,171).
Scott played all four years for Gonzaga and was named All-West Coast Conference as a senior (2001).
Scott is married to his wife, Alana, and they have three children. He is the son of Lee and Linda, and he has two brothers and two sisters. He graduated from Maui High School in Kahului, Hawaii, and earned all-state honors as a senior.
