It’s no secret that Sounders FC supporters love to flood the CenturyLink Field seats on matchday. Since joining MLS in 2009, the Rave Green have set a new standard for club support by leading the league in attendance each year. When the full stadium is open, the Sounders faithful (and their scarves, of course) come in droves, and it’s nearly guaranteed the club will put on a spectacle to appease the masses.
For home crowds of 45,000 or more, Sounders FC has made CenturyLink Field a fortress. Including postseason play, the Sounders have posted a 13-1-2 record when the upper bleachers are open. The impressive mark includes some of the biggest moments in club history – from Cascadia clashes to a Supporters’ Shield showdown; from AT&T Goal of the Year to MLS Save of the Year; from first career goals and to the final home match for a Seattle legend.
