Stefan Frei has been having a pretty great last few weeks if you ask us.
He kicked off the month of December winning MLS Cup and making the biggest save of his career, only to fly home and celebrate with his teammates in the Emerald City. After that, he wasted no time commemorating his latest career achievement with some new ink that he added to his already extensive collection. Following that, he shipped off for some much-deserved (and earned) rest and relaxation in St. Martin.
But he didn't go alone.
In true Frei fashion, the 'keeper brought his trusty defensive pal and recently-retired Sounders veteran Zach Scott along for the ride...sort of. Frei packed his commemorative Scott bobblehead, who seemed to enjoy all of the sights and sounds of the island.

And of course, Frei enjoyed the sun himself.
The trip also gave fans a peek of another tattoo that Frei's been working on: a full back piece that's pretty darn cool if you ask us.
Lucky for Frei, it's not back to the cold of Seattle just yet. The Swiss-born goalkeeper was named to the U.S. men's national team roster on Thursday for his first-ever international call up. Good luck, Stef, and we'll see you in the Emerald City soon.
