On Thursday, Major League Soccer unveiled the 20 MLS players with the highest rating on EA Sports FIFA 20. Seattle Sounders star midfielder Nicolás Lodeiro came in at No. 12, with an overall rating of 78. A 77 rating last year, Lodeiro jumps five spots from his No. 17 position in FIFA 19.
Lodeiro, 30, was named to MLS All-Star team for the first time since joining MLS in 2016, when he led the Rave Green to their first MLS Cup en route to being named the 2016 Newcomer of the Year. In 2019, Lodeiro has recorded five goals and 12 assists in 25 league matches. The Sounders' all-time assists leader with 48, Lodeiro has 60 caps for the Uruguay national team and appeared in the 2010 and 2014 FIFA World Cups.
