Major League Soccer on Tuesday named Seattle Sounders left back Nouhou to the Week 29 MLS Team of the Week following his match-winning performance in the club's 2-1 comeback victory over the Houston Dynamo.
A lockdown defender, Nouhou showcased his attacking skillset against Houston. The Cameroonian international scored his first-ever MLS goal to pull the Sounders level in the the 59th minute. Nouhou then supplied the assist on Fredy Montero's game-winning goal with an inch-perfect cross to the back post.
Nouhou and the Sounders return to action on Saturday as they host Austin FC at Lumen Field (5:08 p.m. PT; FOX 13+, Prime Video, 950 KJR AM, El Rey 1360AM | TICKETS).
