The Seattle Sounders are hosting Liga MX’s Pumas UNAM on Wednesday in the second leg of the Concacaf Champions League Final. Here is everything you need to know:

WHEN AND WHERE: Kickoff is at 7:06 p.m. PT at Lumen Field (TICKETS).

WHERE TO WATCH: The match will be televised on FS1, UniMás and TUDN.

WHERE TO LISTEN: The match will air on 93.3 KJR FM and El Rey 1360 AM.

LEG ONE RESULT: The Sounders went to Mexico City and drew Pumas 2-2 in the first leg. Striker Juan Dinenno opened the scoring for the hosts in the 38th minute on a penalty before recording a brace in the 48th minute on a header. Sounders captain Nicolás Lodeiro pulled one back in the 77th minute on a penalty of his own before bagging a massive second penalty in the ninth minute of stoppage time to send the tie back to Seattle level at 2-2.

ARRIVE EARLY: Gates will open at 5:00 p.m., and all fans are strongly encouraged to arrive no later than 6 p.m. to avoid traffic, lines and to catch pre-match celebrations at Lumen Field. You can find more matchday information HERE

CHAMPIONSHIP SCENARIO: By virtue of the draw and the away goals tiebreaker not in effect in the two-legged final, the match in Seattle is essentially a one-match championship. An outright win for either team would capture the title and a draw would send the match to extra time with penalties awaiting if necessary.

ATTENDANCE RECORD: Seattle expected to set the CCL attendance record on Wednesday with more than 61,000 tickets sold. The previous record was held by the then-Montreal Impact at Stade Olympique in 2015.

HISTORY BECKONS: The Sounders are looking to become the first MLS team to win the modern version of CCL after four previous clubs came up short. Liga MX has dominated, taking every title since 2008.

The Seattle Sounders are going to the Concacaf Champions League Final for the first time in club history. Come support the team as we take on Liga MX's Pumas UNAM and try to become the first MLS club to win CCL and go to the FIFA Club World Cup!

SUPER NICO: Lodeiro is “clutch” personified, calmly depositing two enormous penalties in a hostile environment to give Seattle a legitimate chance at CCL glory. He’s converted three PKs in his last three CCL matches and is on the brink of earning his third trophy with the Sounders.

FIRST-CHOICE LINEUP: For the first time in 2022, Head Coach Brian Schmetzer was able to roll out arguably his best XI last week. With everyone finally healthy, and barring any unforeseen injuries in training, Schmetzer will likely throw his strongest lineup out on the pitch again in the biggest match in club history.

DINENNO THRIVING: After many reports that Dinenno would miss the first leg with an injury, the Argentine started and scored two big goals. Dinenno is CCL’s leading scorer this campaign with nine goals, and he scored twice for Pumas this past weekend off the bench in a massive win over Pachuca that secured Pumas’ place in the Liguilla (Liga MX playoffs).

ORTÍZ RETURNS: Pumas will get a strong reinforcement on their back line as center back Arturo Ortíz returns for Leg Two. The Mexican international missed the first leg last week because of a red-card suspension.

MOZO INJURY: Pumas took a big hit in Leg One when right fullback Alan Mozo exited in the first half with a leg injury. His health status could be a major factor, as the veteran is one of the best attacking fullbacks in Liga MX. His replacement, Jesús Rivas, is just 19 years old and has fewer than 20 career appearances.
